New features
The main new features, introduced in FEMAG/DS module, are :
- 3D melt flow convection (laminar or mixinglength models);
- 3D heat transfer in the crystal and in the melt;
- Direct TD simulation mode;
- 3D interface tracking by deforming mesh;
- Different cooling modes are available: evolution of the temperature with respect to time of the fixed heaters (so called “VGF” configuration); motion of the heaters/insulators; combination of the two previous mode;
- User-friendly introduction of temperature control;
- Oxygen and carbon 3D Species computation.
