The global heat transfer simulation takes into account :
  • radiation and conduction in the overall furnace,
  • convection inside melt and gas phases.
"Global" means that all the Czochralski furnace elements are included and that the heat transfer modes are coupled.
Global heat transfer. Temperature isolines are separeted by 50 K.
Convection inside the melt phase. The Stokes' stream function is represented by isolines separated by 2 cm^3/s.
Gas flow represented by velocity vectors. The reference vector is displayed on the upper right corner.
