Software Application Engineer (RH/05-07-B)

Job purpose
Become a member of a group which develops end-products for customers all around the world.

Key responsibilities:
  • To create, design, write and test new software products
  • To develop existing systems by analyzing and identifying the areas to be modified
  • To maintain the systems by monitoring, identifying and correcting the software defects
  • To elaborate technical specifications and test plans
  • To write operational documentation in collaboration with technical authors
  • To closely work with the consulting service team for the maintenance and performance of the software products
Experience & Skills
An Engineering degree in Mechanics, Materials Science or Mathematics with an experience in Numerical Simulation.
  • Good knowledge in computer coding languages
  • Fluent in English or fluent in French with good knowledge of English
  • Flexible and autonomous
  • Interested in new technologies
A first professional experience as a software developer within a large project environment is a plus.

R&D Software Engineer (RH/05-07-A)

Job purpose
Become a member of our R&D team. The main objective of your work will be to develop new numerical modules to be integrated in our software products. The associated research topics are linked to Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, Magneto-Hydrodynamics, and Defect Modeling in single crystals, and also to Numerical Geometry, including Mesh Generation and Management for 2D and 3D problems.

Experience & Skills

Requimements:
  • An Engineering degree or a PhD in Mechanics, Materials Science or Mathematics with a strong emphasis on Numerical Simulation
  • Good knowledge of C++
  • Fluent in English or fluent in French with good knowledge of English
Considered as an advantage:
  • Experience in team development and in the development of large-scale numerical code
  • Experience in parallel computation
  • Knowledge of Python and/or FORTRAN
  • Experience in the use of Finite Element Methods
  • Experience in Materials Forming modeling
